Mt. Rainier Reflection / Spray Park / Mt. Rainier National Park, Washington
Spray park is an amazing place to be at this time of the year - wildflowers blooming all around the park. This is the west side of the mountain and gets the sunset light gleaming off its red rocks and glaciers. I went with my friend Ritesh to this spot just before sunset. We found this tarn just to the side of the park. The mosquitoes were having a feast here. Ritesh was busy spraying his body with insect repellents and shooing away the mosquitoes while I clicked. He loves hiking (read as he is trying to reduce his weight). He's a good friend and was willing to accompany me to the Park (a 3 mile hike) and back down when it was dark. I think that the sight was worth the effort and would definitely want to go back there again. He was on the lookout for Bears throughout our trek down back to the car :). More pics from Spray park to follow.
