Mesquite Sand Dunes / Death Valley National Park / California
This is at sunrise on the Mesquite Sand Dunes in Death Valley National Park. I thought I will look for some ripples in the sand; but it was tough to get the colors as the sunrise was not as expected due to the clouds which came and spoiled the party. Still got a bit of red coming through. Liked the way a pattern formed with all the small dunes. The arid desert land can be seen just at the end of the sand dunes. It is amazing how wind can change the terrain (huge sand dunes followed by sandless arid land) I saturated the picture to bring out the red color in the sand.
